The aim of this work was to do the social-pedagogical research into the field of skiing and snowboarding among children and adolescents in South Bohemia. Average number days, that children spent on mountains is 5.4 days, nevertheless at boys 6.1 and at girls 4.7. This difference we interpret as a lack of interest school girls about sport after 13 - 14 year. As a whole 82% schools organizes winter training course regularly each year. Among 18 % schools, which no organize winter training course regularly,are village and town schools, and also small and big schools. It is impossible then pronounce overall conclusion about what type of schools acts. A large role by gaining pupils for skiing and snowboarding education is teacher motivating. On winter courses predominates skiing education. All schools from research set offer skiing education, however only a 40% school offers also snowboarding education. From that evidently follow also results in them evaluation skiing and snowboarding skill
