    Plasma is nowadays used in various application, one of them can be biological application. Such as treatment of agricultural seeds. Plasma treatment may reduce the contamination, but it is important to know, how the germination is affected. In the firstplace, the characterization of the plasmas needs to be well known. The atmospheric plasma discharge of Gliding arc type and low pressure microwave plasma discharge were compared and the plasma with better results was selected for the rapeseeds treatment.
