    Various measuring methods and means are used in a lot of fields. The measuring should be executed by technically proficient laboratories. For this reason, the Czech Accreditation Institute requires an active participation of the laboratories in proficiency testing. The paper deals with the issue of proficiency testing in the field of noise, sound insulation and vibration in the Czech Republic. It is in particular focused on analysis of the results of one of the major providers of this proficiency testing that was provided to the entities executing noise and vibration measurement in the period 2013 - 2017.
