A spatial generalization of Wallace-Simson theorem on four lines parallel to a plane

  • Original language description

In the paper we explore 3D generalization of the well-known Wallace–Simson theorem: Given four straight lines which are parallel to a fixed plane. Determine the locus of the point P such that points which are symmetric with a point P with respect to these four lines are coplanar. The locus of P is a cylinder of revolution with the axis which is perpendicular to the fixed plane.
