Original language description
In this paper we describe a proposal of a reputation model which includes all the appropriate information about user behavior in online auctions. The model is based on evaluation of feedbacks performed by users after completion of transactions. This mechanism is supplemented by monitoring of potential fraudulent user behavior. Reputation rate and the rate of possible fraudulent behavior are expressed by belief functions. In our model, the measure of possible fraudulent behavior influences the measure ofreliability of reputation calculated from previous transactions. This influence is then expressed by the means of contextual discounting and contradiction. The proposed model is innovative in the sense that it combines all available information regarding the behavior of users on online auction to determine their trustfulness.
