In "Adoption of the Euro by the Czech Republic: Legal, Political and Economic Considerations" Roberto Bergami a Martina Krásnická cover the aspects on how the Czech Republic can be considered to enter the European Monetary Union following the Maastrichtconvergence criteria. It goes to consider the mandatory legal and economic requirements for accession the EMU, adopting therefore the Euro. The article assess the fulfilment by the Czech Republic to the Convergence report of the European Commission for the period 2009- 2011 under the interpretation of article 4 of the Act concerning the accession of the Czech Republic and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union as a Member State with a derogation, when the Council has not decided yet the fulfilment by the Czech Republic for the adoption of the Euro.
