The chapter starts with presentation of the concepts of green growth, green economy and Green New Deal. After their critical assessment, the specific conditions of the Czech Republic are discussed and five groups if green growth indicators are described.Two cases of energy production problems are discussed in detail - photovoltaic energy case and brown coal mining in Northwest Bohemia. Finally, the state of application of green growth policies in the Czech Republic is evaluated.
