We describe an application of a universal basic regression algorithm and computer program for the comparison of marker peak areas in spectral sets. In our case, it is a set of liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) profiles. This new algorithm aims at recognition of quantitative dependences of (bio)markers in general.
