Development of land rent between 2011 and 2017
Original language description
This paper aims to explore the growth rate of land rent in the sample of farms and to try to find differences in land rent and its growth among ANC types. The paper uses sample survey data of agricultural farms. The sample contains in 2011 – 2017 each year about 80 farms from the whole territory of the Czech Republic. Due to the high percentage of rented land in the Czech Republic, the growth of land rent is a problem that most Czech farms currently have to deal with. Farms are trying to buy utilized land and the share of rented land declines, but it is still higher compared to other EU countries. In 2011 – 2016, there was a significant increase in land rent, in recent years this trend has been stalled. There are significant differences in the land rent among ANC types, but the rate of growth does not differ significantly among these types.
