The aim of the contribution is to inform you about my dissertation project where I would like to analyseinnovation2 processes and approaches of selected economies. To evaluate the competitiveness3 and development potentialof selected world economies. Especially, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and potentially the Visegrád group (V4). It meansthat the main research issue is: Are the economies of the Czech Republic and Slovakia competitive with others? Why arethey or not? What are the differences between the Czech and Slovak economies in competitiveness? I will also comparethem.
