This chapter deals with the evaluation of attitudedifferences in smart cities across different continents. Weseek to determine whether the willingness of citizens totrade privacy for efficiency exists in smart cities for thedeployment of artificial intelligence. In regionalmanagement, artificial intelligence offers powerful tools toaddress critical challenges such as crime prevention,predicting traffic congestion, monitoring air pollution, ordesigning a sustainable housing environment. Promotingcircular economy principles is key to successfully integratingartificial intelligence, including waste reduction, resourceefficiency and sustainable consumption. Through carefulplanning and a focus on circularity, AI-driven smart cities canbecome vibrant, inclusive and responsible places for the lifeand development of all residents.
