The paper assesses the economic viability of Czech agricultural enterprises andthe connection between economic viability and the ability to create value. From the possibledefinitions of economic viability, we choose the concept of Farm Economic Viability anduse IN99 to estimate the ability of the farm to create value. The empirical analysis was carriedout on a sample of agricultural enterprises from the collected database from 2013 - 2022.Differences in the viability of enterprises were tested according to the enterprise's affiliationwith disadvantaged areas. The results indicate a strong dependence of value creation on theeconomic viability of farms.
