Original language description
Answering the questions in the fields of fish nutrition, welfare, aquaculture systems design, as well as holding stand-alone ethological studies require fish individual and/or shoal behavior monitoring and analysis. The key technical problem of fish behavior monitoring is the determination of fish individual coordinates in space. The later steps can include frame-to-frame assignment of detected fish in individual consecutive frames to obtain short-term fish trajectories and calculation of fish behavior statistics.
