Visible Aquaphotomics Spectrophotometry for Aquaculture Systems
Original language description
The water quality is an important question for the environment as well as for the aquaculture and it does not matter which system you are using. It can be water treatment systems, water supply systems, pond treatment system or aquaponics system. For various purposes from simple water monitoring in maintenance, regulation, control and optimization to behavior models in biometrics, biomonitoring, biophysics and bioinformatics, it is necessary to observe wide field of variables. This article discusses and describes a method of iomonitoring, which is called Aquaphotomics. Aquaphotomics is a term introduced to define the application of spectrophotometry in the near infrared region (NIR) in order to understand the influence of water on the structure and function of biological systems. Currently aquaphotomics is focused on the NIR part of light spectrum, while we want to broaden this investigation to also include the visible part.
