Program for raw/unprocessed data extraction from the .dng (Adobe Digital Negative) image format. The program is used in combination with Adobe DNG Converter, which converts undocumented inconsistent .raw formats of different manufacturers into the open Adobe .dng format. Expertomica DNG Reader then extracts the original data from a .dng file as recorded by the camera CCD chip. This way we get a much clearer image of the observed sample (greater bit depth, color distribution in the Color Filter Array) suitable for analysis. The program is controlled through a simple graphical user interface.
