  • Original language description

In this study was verified effect of intake of Ca and Mg in mineral mixtures and other components of feed ration on the content of these elements in blood plasma, urine, and feces in representative groups of 6 - 15 animals. This experiment was situated to pasture period in Sumava Mts. When the mean content of Ca was 4,6 + 1,23 g.kg-1 DM of grassland and its daily supplementation was 3-4g/cattle feed unit the concentration of Ca in urine was 0,044-0,082 g.l-1 and in feces 6,65-9,11 g.kg-1DM. There was significant increase of the Ca concentration in feces 20,60 + 10,24 g.kg-1 DM when the supplementation of Ca was 31g per cattle feed unit. Mg deficiency in grassland 1,37 + 0,27 g.kg-1 DM was not compensated by the daily supplementation with 3,5 -8,0 g percattle feed unit. This adverse status was confirmed by decrease of the Mg content in blood plasma 1,04 + 0,18 mmol.l-1 and by low levels of magnesium in urine 0,086 + 0,009 g.l-1. The content of Mg in feces was 2,82 + 0,794 g.kg-1 DM.
