In last ten years some experimental methods for surface treatment that use the plasma discharge burning at atmospheric pressure have been developed. It can be mentioned for example radio-frequency torch discharge stabilized by the working gas flow burning in liquid media, high pressure torch discharge based on the principles of the arc torch discharge or barrier torch discharge with one or both electrodes covered by dielectric layer. For applications it is necessary to know basic parameters influenced the process of plasma surface treatment and deposition of thin films. The temperature of neutral working gas flow that stabilized the discharge is one of these parameters. We have used the setup of holographic interferometer for measurement. We have measured just the temperature of neutral gas flow in two various configurations of barrier torch discharge burning at atmospheric pressure.
