Some of synthetic analogues of mammalian GnRH are widely used for the induction of ovulation in fish. One of the conditions for the registration and use of a substance is the understanding of its fate in the animal. We investigated the metabolic productsof /D-Ala6, ProNHEt/GnRH and /D-Tle6, ProNHEt/GnRH in different tissues of the carp and tench.
