Coprological examination of nine African helmeted turtles Pelomedusa subrufa from Kenya revealed the presence of a new coccidium belonging to Eimeria Schneider, 1875. The described species is classified as Eimeria (sensu stricto).

Koprologické vyšetření devíti želv Pelomedusa subrufa z Keni odhalilo přítomnost nového druhu kokcidie r. Eimeria Schneider, 1875. Popsaný druh je klasifikován jako Eimeria (sensu stricto).
