The role of semiochemicals in tritrophic interactions between the spruce bark beetle Ips typographus, its predators and infested spruce
Original language description
Semiochemical interaction between the spruce bark beetle Ips typographus, its predators Medetera setiventris, Thanasimus formicarius and Thanasimus femoralis, and the Norway spruce, Picea abies, were studied in the field using (S)-cis-verbenol, 2-methyl-3-buten-2-ol, ipsdienol, (+)-alpha-pinene, (-)-alpha-pinene, (+/-)-alpha-pinene, limonene, camphor and their naturally occuring mixtures. The results are presented in detail and discussed.

Role semiochemikálií při vzájemné interakci mezi lýkožroutem smrkovým (Ips typographus), jeho predátory a napadeným smrkem
Czech description
V polních podmínkách byly studovány interakce mezi lýkožroutem smrkovým (Ips typographus), jeho predátory Medetera setiventris, Thanasimus formicarius a Thanasimus femoralis a hostitelským norským smrkem (Picea abies) a semiochemikáliemi reprezentovanými(S)-cis-verbenolem, 2-methyl-3-buten-2-olem, ipsdienolem, (+)-alfa-penenem, (-)-alfa-pinenem, (+/-)-alfa-pinenem, limonenem, kamforem, a jejich v přírodě se vyskytujícími směsmi. Výsledky jsou podrobně popsány a diskutovány.
