Original language description

Myzocallis (Lineomyzocallis) walshii (Monell), an aphid of North ?American origin associated with Quercus rubra was detected for the first time in 1988 in Europe (France), and subsequently in several other countries. Research undertaken in 2003-5 determined the aphid to be distributed on Quercus rubra throughout the Czech Republic Biology and ecology of the aphid is presented. Four parazitoid species (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidiinae) were found.

Czech description

Myzocallis (Lioneomyzocallis) walshii (Monell), mšice severoamerického původu vázaná na Quercus rubra byla zjištěna v Evropě poprvé v roce 1988 (Francie), postupně i v jiných zemích. Výzkum v letech 2003-5 prokázal výskyt této mšice na Quercus rubra v celé České republice. Je podána bionomie a ekologie, byly zjištěn 4 druhy parazitoidů (Hymenoptera: Braconidae, Aphidiinae).
