Original language description

The nematode Rhabdochona cotti is redescribed from specimens collected from the intestine of the sculpin Cottus caeruleomentum, a recently described fish species, from Little Fishing Creek in Maryland, USA. Rhabdochona rotundicaudatum is considered a synonym of R. cascadilla; numerous specimens of the latter were collected from Semotilus atromaculatus, Luxilus cornutus and Notropis rubellus from the Eramosa River, Ontario, Canada. Rhabdochona paxmani and R. salmonis are synonymized with R. kisutchi, whereas Rhabdochona californiensis is considered a junior synonym of R. cascadilla.

Czech description

Na základě exemplářů ze střeva vranky Cottus caeruleomentum (nový, nedávno popsaný druh ryb) z Little Fishing Creek v Marylandu, USA je redeskribována hlístice Rhabdocona cotti. Rhabdochona rotundicaudatum je považována za synonymum R. cascadilla; četnéexempláře tohoto druhu byly získány ze Semotilus atromaculatus, Luxilus cornutus a Notropis rubellus z řeky Eramosa v Ontariu v Kanadě. Rhabdochona paxmani a R. salmonis jsou synonymizovány s R. kisutchi, zatímco Rhabdochona californiensis je považovánaza mladší synonymum R. cascadilla.
