Misidentification of nematodes from the Chinese sleeper Perccottus glenii in Europe
Original language description
The nematodes recently reported as Philometroides parasiluri (= misidentified Philometroides moraveci) from the introduced Chinese sleeper Perccottus glenii of the Danube River, Serbia were, in fact, larvae of Eustrongylides (Dioctophymatidae), as can beseen from the accompanied drawings. However, an introduction of this East-Asian parasite into Europe cannot be excluded.
Czech name
Chybná determinace hlístic z ryby Perccottus glenii v Evropě
Czech description
Hlístice nedávno uváděné pod jménem Philometroides parasiluri (= chybně identifikovaný druh Philometroides moraveci) z okounovité ryby Perccottus glenii zavlečené do Dunaje v Srbsku byly ve skutečnosti larvy rodu Eustrongylides (Dioctophymatidae), jak lze zjistit z přiložených ilustrací. Zavlečení tohoto východoasijského parazita do Evropy však nelze vyloučit.
