Je popisován nový rod a druh mikrosporidie (Houby: Mikrosporidie), který napadá hypodermální buňky korýše Daphnia magna. Je popisována jeho struktura, ultrastruktura, fylogenetické vztahy a ekologie tohoto parasitického organizmu.
