Two groups of epigeic arthropods differ in colonising of piedmont quarries: the necessity of multi-taxa and life-history traits approaches in the monitoring studies

  • Original language description

Using an example of patterns of distribution of carabid beetles and spiders in mined-up quarries, we argue that biodiversity monitoring should be based on multiple groups and should, besides of species richness, account for species life hisotory traits.

  • Czech name

Dvě skupiny epigeických členovců se liší v kolonizaci lomů, aneb proč musí monitorovací studie pracovat s více taxony a jejich ekologickými vlastnostmi

  • Czech description

Na příkladu kolonizace opuštěných lomů střevlíkovitými brouky a pavoukovci ukazujeme, že monitoring biodiverzity by měl vycházet z většího počtu skupin a měl by, vedle druhové bohatosti, brát v potaz i ekologické nároky jednotlivých druhů.
