The unique ultrastructure of the uterus of the Gyrocotylidea (Cestoda) and its phylogenetic implication
Original language description
Ultrastructural study of the uterus of a member of the most basal tapeworms (Cestoda: Gyrocotylidea) has shown that it possesses several characteristics unqie among parasitic flatworms (Neodermata). Results thus support the assumption about phylogeneticimportance of this group of primitive cestodes.
