Study of oostatic peptide uptake and metabolism in developing ovaries of the flesh fly, Neobellieria bullata
Original language description
The uptake and metabolism of the oostatic 5P, H-Tyr-Asp-Pro-Ala-Pro-OH in ovaries of Neobellieria bullata was analyzed during their developmental stages. The uptake of the applied radioactivity strongly depends on the stage of vitellogenesis with a veryrapid degradation of the 5P.
