Sexual dimorphism in the parasitoid wasps Aphidius balcanicus, Aphidius rosae, and Aphidius urticae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidiinae)
Original language description
Variations in the magnitude and the direction of sexual dimorphism in the parasitoid species from the genus Aphidius Nees /A. balcanicus Tomanovic et Petrovic, A. rosae Haliday, A.urticae Haliday were explored. To estimate sexual size dimorphism, two developmentally and functionally unrelated morhological structures / the mesoscutum and the wing/ were selected. High levels of variation in sexual dimorphism in wing shape within and between species were found.
