Original language description

In anticipation of the second edition of the Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera, to be issued at a later date, we have decided to publish a multi-authored contribution to the knowledge of distribution of the Scarabaeoidea known to occur in the Palaearctic Region. Numerous new or noteworthy country records are provided. For each species, the number and collecting data of examined specimens are given, and the distribution is specified.
