Genetic evidence for function of the bHLH-PAS protein Gce/Met as a juvenile hormone receptor
Original language description
The paper provides genetic evidence to definitively establish the long-elusive receptor for the juvenile hormone (JH). By exploiting the Drosophila model, it shows that the JH-binding capacity of the bHLH-PAS transcription factor Gce/Met is indispensablefor the essential function of this receptor protein during insect development.
