Original language description
The device is designed for trapping walking adults of the large pine weevil. The trap allows the use of a wide range of commercial attractants. Removal of captured weevils is quick and does not require re-installation of the trap. The design of the entrance holes prevents the capture of non-target arthropods (e.g. Carabidae) and eliminates flooding of the trap.
