Insights into tick-borne encephalitis virus packaging process
Original language description
Tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBEV Orthoflavivirus encephalitidis, Flaviviridae) poses a significant threat as one of the most serious tick-borne viral pathogens. It leads to severe neurological damage, known as tick-borne encephalitis, affecting thousands annually in the Eurasian continent. In recent years the expansion of the TBEV endemic areas, coupled with the absence of specific treatment, made it a focal point for the research.
