Original language description
Apple trees showing branch malformation were repeatedly found at diferent locations in low-intensity in the Czech Republic. Transmission electron microscopy and nested polymerase chain reaction revelated the presence of phytoplasmas. RFLP analyses allowed classifying the detected in the phytoplasma aster yellows group, subgroup 16Srl-C in 12 trees, simgle (11 plants) or mixed with phytoplasma belonging to 16SrI-B subgroup (one plant.)

Detekce fytoplazem u jabloní s deformovanými větvemi
Czech description
Jabloně s deformovanými letorosty byly opakovaně pozorovány v nízko produkčních sadech v ČR. Pomocí PCR s primery specifickými pro detekci fytoplazem a následným RFLP byly v příznakových stromech identifikovány fytoplazmy podskupin 16SrI-B, 16SrI-C a 16SrX-A. Ve dvou stromech byla přítomnost fytoplazem prokázána též transmisní elektronovou mikroskopií.
