Population dynamics and within-plant distribution of A. carvi was investigated at two localities during the second year of caraway growing. Results revealed that density of mites was low in May and gradually increased with maximum about three weeks before harvest. More mites were found on leaves than on umbels.

Sezónní výskyt hálčivce kmínového (Acari: Eriophyidae) v komerčních porostech kmínu v České republice

Czech description

Populační dynamika a rozložení A. carvi na rostlinách byly zkoumány na dvou lokalitách ve druhém roce pěstování kmínu. Výsledky ukázaly, že hustota roztočů byla nízká v květnu a následně narůstala do maxima okolo tří týdnů před sklizní. Více roztočů bylozjištěno na listech než na okolících.
