Two species of parasitic nematodes are for the first time reported from freshwater catfishes Trichomycterus spp. in Colombia. One of them represents a new species of a new genus, Dentinema trichomycteri gen. et sp. nov., whereas the second one, Procamallanus chimusensis, is redescribed based on new morphological data by LM and SEM

Ze sladkovodních sumců Trichomycterus spp. z Kolumbie jsou poprvé uváděny dva druhy cizopasných hlístic. Jeden z nich představuje nový druh a nový rod Dentinema trichomycteri gen. et sp. nov., zatímco druhý druh, Procamallanus chimusensis, je redeskribován na základě morfologických údajů získaných pomocí optické a řádkovací elektronové mikroskopie
