One new and one known species of the ascaridoid family Anisakidae are reported and described from marine fishes off New Caledonia: Raphidascaris (Ichthyascaris) nemipteri n. sp. from Nemipterus furcosus and Hysterothylacium cenaticum from Tetrapturus audax. The genus Maricostula Bruce & Cannon, 1989 is considered a junior synonym of Hysterothylacium.

Jeden nový a jeden známý druh askaridoidní čeledi Anisakidae jsou uváděny a popsány z mořských ryb of Nové Kaledonie: Raphidascaris (Ichthyascaris) nemipteri n. sp. z Nemipterus furcosus a Hysterothylacium cenaticum z Tetrapturus audax. Rod Maricostula Bruce & Cannon, 1989 je považován za mladší synonymum rodu Hysterothylacium.
