The aim of our work was to find applicable markers (alternatively AFLP markers convert to more easily practicable), cheaper and easy to use for MAS. By the methods of molecular biology it is possible to locate and determine genetic resources and we weretrying to find a routine method, how to describe uniquely the maintained material. Resistance to endoparasitic root cyst nematode Globodera rostochiensis is one of many followed descriptions. The most important H1 locus locates on distal end of the longarm chromosome V and confers resistance to G.rostochiensis pathotypes Ro1 and Ro4. H1 locus that was a focus, was successfully detected in 76 tested samples out of total 135 samples.

Czech description
Cílem naší práce bylo nalézt markery, které by bylo možné jednodušeji aplikovat při markery asistované selekci (případně pro tyto účely konvertovat AFLP). Pomocí metod molekulární biologie je možné určit genetické zdroje rezistencí. Hledali jsme rutinnímetodu jak popsat unikátní materiál udržovaný v genové bance. Rezistence bramboru k Globodera rostochiensis je jednou z mnoha sledovaných vlastností. Nejvýznamnější lokus rezistence H1 se nalézá na chromozomu V a propůjčuje rezistenci vůči G.rostochiensis ? patotyp Ro1. Lokus H1 byl identifikován u 76 z 135 testovaných jedinců.
