Some recent trends in up to date membrane technologies for water separation and recycling
Original language description
Fresh water consumption represents nowadays a significant item, which is carrefully checked und optimized in all branches of food industry. The role of membrane technologies for industrial water recycling is increasing due to specific advantages of membrane sparation process. Ceramic membranes of new types permanently broaden the application field of membrane system. Performance decline due to fouling is being minimased by new techniques, while still some striking phenomena remain not fully understood.
