Kriminální a teroristické útoky na potrubí jsou vážnou hrozbou pro odborníky i celou společnost. Naprostá většina důvodů útoků je mimo provozovatele AOR, ale právě oni mohou hodně udělat pro prevenci rostoucích útoků.výměna zkušeností v těchto oblastechje velmi nápomocná a je nutné ji podporovat.
