The aim of the workshop was to present the results of the project STRATAL, to discuss approach to identifying and processing capabilities requirements of Hungary and the Czech Republic and to initiate a cooperation at the two coutries at a corresponding level. Following topics had been discussed: - Current status of Hungarian defence planning and their approach to identifying capabilities requirements - Current approach to CZE MOD to dealing with capabilities requirements and current status of CZE defence planning with focus on capabilities requirements - Methodology applicable to the process of identifying capabilities requirements - Wargaming and it's suitability for ascenario analysis and capability analysis in the Czech republic - The way of generating portfolio of scenarios and structure of portfolio - Internal scenario structure - Suitable tool for the Czech republic for scenario and capabilities analysis (wargame, simulation, joining MN ADAPT/working on our own) - Risk assessmenmt - Aligning National Ambitions with NATO Capability Targets Outlook for future cooperation was discussed - mutual participation on conferences organized by the CZE and HU. Hungary is invited to participation on DaS conference in June 2017 in Brno.
