The paper estimates principle of using of existing reconnaissance and firing devices of the Army of the Czech Republic. The past and current combat experience indicates that Field Artillery has specific role. Artillery of the Army of the Czech Republic is primarily determined for the firing tasks of both direct and indirect fire support of Brigade Task Force, Battalion Task Force and Company Task Force. Artillery role is developed and changed. For example, in this time Artillery of the Army of the CzechRepublic has new device - ARTillery HUnting Radar (ARTHUR WLS modB), which is determination for detection of enemy artillery. Henceforth, Artillery will aim at firing support of small units, using in static operations - Force Protection, Counter Fire, anti-coalition militants indirect fire, etc.
