Original language description
The Czech Republic?s involvement in the operations within the NATO and the EU framework enforced new point of view to logistical support planning. The study analyses procedures and processes realized in the EU Battlegroup preparation, the role of lead nation and the way of coordination with troop contribution nation. The main planning process was CZ/SVK BG analysis in 2009 when evaluation of the whole planning processes spectrum gave the real foundation for future military and non-military operations realized in the EU framework. The study analyses the time order of activities from the EU BG task receiving to classification exercise realization. Operation planning and executed analysis gave proof of need of using financing of the operations in the ATHENA program, which enables usage of shared resources in planning process and unit deployment for EU member states.
