Sources for Emergency Water Supply III
Original language description
The proposal of a method for the semiquantitative assessment of integrated risk of contamination, damage, or destruction of selected sources of ground water for emergency supply of population by drinking water is presented in the paper. The risk assessment is based on the elaborated register of hazards including the semiquantitative assessment of the probability that the assessed sources of hazards are activated, the register of vulnerability together with the semiquantitative vulnerability assessment of selected threatened elements of hydrogeological structure and technological equipment of the assessed water source, and the determination of their criticality. The semiquantitative risk assessment should become a basis for classifying the sources of ground water within the system of crisis planning.
