Original language description
To implement the Network Enabled Capability (NEC) concept and vision in the Czech Army is one of the challenges which also are going to be accomplished in the Area of Military Engineering (AME). The article elaborates some specifics and conditions whichshould be taken into account during the process of NEC concept development and implementation. The focus point is laid mainly on the problems which are associated with command and control (C2) system and processes within AME. Effective command and control will be a key enabler towards the provision of coherent and optimised engineer support at all levels. Engineer troops provide combat support and force support engineering during full spectrum of operations. Increased levels of military engineering situational understanding and awareness process within engineers of NATO armies as well as the migration towards the concept of network enabled capabilities will be essential and key point for near future.
