    The paper deals with evaluation of the influence of ammonia water on the environment. It focused on the issue severity of leakage hazardous substance and vulnerability of the environment. Using methodology H&V index describes the potential impacts of accidents with leakage of ammonia water on the environment. Using methodology ALOHA was simulated ammonia water leakage and impact on the health of affected people. Determine the effect of selected substance on the environment has been done in the DukovanyNuclear Power Station in the Czech Republic.
