The present publication is dedicated to the subject of persecution of Czechoslovak soldiers after February 1948 and the context of their departure into exile. Furthermore, it discusses the formation and activities of the Club of Czechoslovak Officers inExile and the compatriots? endeavor to help restore democracy in Czechoslovakia following February 1948. This work follows on the previous books titled Compatriots in the USA and the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic (MoD Czech Republic, Prague2008), and Compatriots and Czechoslovak Foreign Resistance 1938?1945 (MoD Czech Republic, Prague 2010).
