Birth of the New Czech Military Doctrine Publication and Principal Consideration for Doctrine Writers
Original language description
Military operations require clear understanding and wide acceptance of fundamental operational principles as a common conceptual background. This is an idea of the highest importance especially when operations are conducted by allied or coalition forcesas multinational. It is the role of military doctrines that provide these basic principles by which the military forces guide their actions in support of common objectives. The Armed Forces of the Czech Republic are currently facing the substantial organizational reforms they inevitable lead to the development of the new military capstone doctrinal publication. If the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic intend to participate as useful NATO member in future military operations, this publication must correspond with ?western style? doctrine. The paper presents key considerations that doctrinal writers should take into the account during the doctrine development process
