Evaluation of Crisis Preparedness of the Municipalities for Dealing with Extraordinary Events

Original language description

The paper deals with the need for evaluation of emergency preparedness and responsiveness of emergency plans in the case of emergency, but also new threats to influence societal security and continuity of the development of communities, especially communities with extended powers (CEP) and their local administrative offices. The article analyses the current state of readiness of CEP in the field of real threats and examines by which steps the municipality get to meet this preparedness. The main aim of article is to define a set of indicators that would be able to assess the state of preparedness of the administrative district of CEP in crisis situations, including the assistance of other authorities of these municipalities, which contribute to the readiness, particularly the respective territorial administrative authorities.
