Military Concepts Development: Case „Weaponized UAVs"
Original language description
The article shows the necessity of new Air Defence concept development for the fight with future enemy UAVs. There is growing in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) usage during military operations at the beginning of the 21st century. UAVs will play a major role in the increasingly dynamic battle control that will evolve in the 21st century. Because they carry no pilot, UAVs may be smaller in size and more cost effective in operation than manned aircraft. And due to the development of a set of technologies, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) may prove an efficient application for a wide spectrum of military missions, many of which can be categorized as “the dull, the dirty, and the dangerous.” UAVs became new means of air attack for the GBAD. It is necessary to search for a new concept of the warfare with current and possible future UAVs.
