Original language description
Decision trees is a classification and predictive method which has applications in many fields. In this work the method of regression trees is used to modelling of tropospheric ozone concentration measured in the vertical gradient at the Atmospheric station Kresin u Pacova. Basic meteorological parameters and categorical variables taking into account temperature inversion, day time and season of the measurement were chosen as predictors for the analysis provided by using CART algorithm. The results show that temperature and relative humidity have the most significant effect to tropospheric ozone concentration at all height levels of measurement. Regression tree model, which can be used to predict tropospheric ozone concentration, can be useful tool for assessment risks from excessive pollution.
